Great Food and Fellowship
Friday night we had North Carolina style barbecue at The Pedalin’ Pig in Banner Elk. Afterwards we played board games, foozball, and shot pool at one of the cabins. We toasted S’mores and Starburst candies together over a roaring fire. We savored delicious Mexican food Saturday night at Puerto Nuevo in Banner Elk. Our Lead Project Manager Tevan Alexander toasted Richard, Elsa, our team and the families that support us. Saturday night we enjoyed another fire, socializing, and playing card games together. On Sunday some of our group explored Moses Cone Memorial Park along the Blue Ridge Parkway.Team Building Scavenger Hunt
Saturday afternoon we broke into five teams for a Team Building Scavenger Hunt. The clues included collecting a coin from 2004 (the year TheeDigital was started), a newspaper, something Hungarian (like our owner Richard), and wildflowers. The teams also had draw a team logo, a wireframe for a new website, and folded dollar bills into the shape of turtles. They took pictures in front of cabins, with dogs, and jumping in the air. They created boats with objects found in the cabins to float down a stream running through the area. The highlight of the Scavenger Hunt was each team making a video to a Taylor Swift song of their choice. Prizes were awarded for the team with the Best Time, Best Logo, Best Wireframe (shown below), Best Video, and the Best Love of Taylor Swift.Scavenger Hunt Photos
