Job Summary
As part of our Creative Team, the Artistic Web Designer will be responsible for developing full web-based direct response product packages which include: web pages, landing pages, banner ads, email campaigns, eCommerce and special offers. All of our projects include CSS and search engine friendly codes so expert knowledge of both is a must.
The position requires excellent design concepts with a strong marketing background and a great understanding of web page design and creation.
Required Experience
At least 5 years experience as a web designer specializing in CSS / tableless design. Experience with WordPress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, X-Cart or any other popular content management systems is a must. Web design, agency production experience, a degree in Graphic Arts, or a strong direct response/marketing portfolio is preferred.
Skill Requirements
- Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and/or FireWorks
- Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML/CSS, tableless design
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work with projects on the fly
- Ability to design landing pages and banners
- Ability to take the initiative without being told
- Proficient in copywriting
- Provide creative input
- Ability to deliver work on time
- Excellent communication skills
- Interested in wearing several different hats and being a solid team player

Candidate will be involved in the day-to-day projects of a fast paced office and must be a self-starter who can take direction well, have a keen attention to detail and complete tasks in a timely manner.
